# Future Dividends?

Seems suddenly I have future dividends changing my current position quantities? The say “estimated” not “unconfirmed”. Any ideas on how to correct this?

If you see estimated dividends, it means you selected a future time period (eg. 2005 - whole current year). In this case, you also see a projected positions.

Dividends will influence cash balances if cash tracking is enabled, and may change stock balances if you have dividend reinvestments enabled.

Thanks. Where do I turn this off? I don’t want the current quantity owned to include estimated future dividends, only current reinvested dividends.

You don’t, but as long your analysis period ends no later than today (eg. ytd, max, 1y) no estimation will be taken into account and only your current positions should be included.
