How do I import a stock split transaction? There does not seem to be a transaction type for a stock split. Do I have to do a sell of the old quantity and a buy of the new quantity?

Stock splits should be handled automatically - a split transaction is added then. For which ISIN you’re missing a split?

You also can add a split transaction - at least for the Stock & ETFs types. Just make sure that the price is not adjusted for splits.

The ISIN is NL0011821350, but this is a private real estate fund.

At one point, they split 100 : 1, so the next statement shows the new price and the new quantity. I am not sure how to model that in a transaction. Like prior statement price = 4650 and quantity = 11.71 and new statement price = 46.5 and quantity = 1171.

Oh, in such case, assuming the split occurred on 2024-07-01:

- Edit the asset prices: 4650 on 2024-06-30 and 46.50 on 2024-07-01
- Add split transaction with 100:1. It will handle the quantity for you.

I see that the Fund does not allow for split transaction at the moment. I’ll add it in a few days, but until then, just change the asset type to Stock or ETF, add the Split and change the type back to Fund.

Thank you, that’s terrific.
