Buying assets doesn't change cash balance on account

I have set up Firstrade account, successfully imported history of transactions and added USD cash balance. I have bought a couple of ETFs and I noticed that cash balance on the account wasn’t changed. I tried both Buy and Transfer operations. Am I doing something incorrectly or this is a bug?

Hey, cash tracking is currently not automated, so the only option is to update the balances manually from time to time, see here: Tracking Cash | Capitally

This will be automated once this feature lands:

Hi, I am trying to follow the instructions here to add the cash for tracking after selling some equities: Tracking Cash | Capitally

For instance, if you have accounts with Degiro, Interactive Brokers, and Revolut, you can add an ‘Account Balance’ transaction on each of them.

but it askes me to give “Quantity”. This balance seems to track the equities, not crash. What I’ve missed ?

This is the quantity (amount) of Cash you have at a given date. Just make sure, you’re adding a cash asset, like Euro or Dollar, to this account.
