Hello - the platform is now loading very slowly for the past 3-4 weeks. Every click is taking a lot of time. Is there any way to speed this up? I have uploaded quite a few transactions but still would request that this could be faster
Hi Hemanth, any chance you could describe the structure of your project - eg. 100 assets with 1000 transactions each, or 100 assets, but 2 of them have 10.000 transactions. Also if they all have differing currencies to the viewing currency.
Ideally, if you could send me an export of the project - as then I can pin-point the issue - but a description I can use to recreate something similar will do.
It doesn’t have to be the whole thing, the assets or quantities can be modified - as long as it’s slow it’s fine 
Generally speaking, to speed things up the following can help:
- using shorter periods (eg. 1y not max)
- not using too many columns on tables (some of them require a lot of calculations)
- not using interpolated prices on custom assets
- not using MWR
Also, one additional question - did you import any additional large amount of data those 3-4 weeks ago? I’m asking, as I can see there’s a performance regression in one of the functions, but it’s only called once per view. The one that may get really slow with large projects has the same performance characteristics as before.
Just wanted to confirm I’m looking at right places…
Hi Rafa - thanks for super quick response. I have loaded a fair bit of transactions onto this. Here are some dimensions:

Around 10 accounts

Around 300 assets across 4 different markets, around 220 are active, rest are zero positions and are just a record of transactions previously

Transactions will be the same for most assets < 100-200 transactions mostly, some higher in all these classes

base currency of project is actually different from all three markets asset currencies

Yes, I did import around 120 assets in the timeline 3-4 weeks ago from a new market

I will send you a modified version of the project privately

I can happily change the following: max view as default to 1 year view, change custom assets to static price, will play around with columns. I’d like to keep MWR (true IRR) “always on” as that literally is one of the many stand-out features that i use, but will be more mindful
Please do let me know any more questions -as the performance does seem to be getting quite a bit slow (and I intend to use Capitally quite a bit )

Hey @Hemanth_Peyyeti , I’ve just pushed a new version that should be significantly faster on large projects, depending on the contents it might be even 10x faster.
