Company A spin off company B and provided 6 shares of company B for 2 shares of company A.
How to enter this transaction

Hey Chintal!

As you don’t sell or buy anything, that would be a Transfer. You add:

  1. Transfer with Quantity = -2 to company A.
  2. Transfer with Quantity = 6 to company B.

If you want to carry over the cost-basis, in 2nd transaction you can set the price to market_price_A * 2 / 6
