I’ve managed to add a few icons for securities that don’t show up automatically, however I’ve tried setting the RKLB icon to https://www.rocketlabusa.com/favicon.ico but it displays as a blank space, despite the URL resolving to a valid .ico file.
Interesting, I guess I found the problem, trying to click the hyperlink gives an access denied error.
Again, this is a valid URL if you copypasta it to your omni bar.
What do?
An ICO file should not be used. Instead search for a PNG, JPEG or WebP files as they can be rendered properly by the browser. Some web servers may protect the assets so they can only be displayed by the web page itself, hence you can get the error.
I would just recommend to search Google for the name of the company, logo, and switch to search in images and this way you should be able to find a nice small PNG file to use as an icon. Like Rocket lab usa logo - Google Search
