I have diferent values at filds: Market value, Returns, Rate of Returns on my mobile and PC ie. on my mobile I have return YTD lower around $11 497,45. I refresed both app (PC + mobile). I reseted “Data and prices cache” on mobile. It did not helped.
Any idea why I have such difference?

Some viewing settings are persisted per device, like currency or what’s included in returns - both are available to the right of period selection. To make it more obvious, the returns label and tooltips will also reflect what you have enabled.
If that’s the same on both, I’d try clearing all device data from Settings/Privacy as a last resort.
This is probably not this case. I have:
a) currency in both devices: “use asset currency”
b) what’s included in returns: in both devices I have the same settings.
I cleared the device. Still the same issue.
The problem is with “Market Value”. This value is wrong. I checked quantities of stocks and those are the same, but value are different ie ASML:
mobile: $60 398,91
PC: $61 046,70
Almost every position has different value.
Other: Income, Fee, Tax are the same at both devices.
I understand you cleared both devices through privacy at similar time, yes?
Because with all other values being the same, only price data, return options or currencies can affect what you see. Price data is cached, so two devices can have slightly different results, but rather not if they’re cleared at similar time.
Can you check if Summary has these differences as well? Another thing you could try is to load Capitally in incognito mode on either device and compare.
I don’t see any related error reports from your devices, so it sounds very strange
I cleared only mobile…
Now stocks are ok. It seems that when the stock exchange started working it uploded new data and it is ok. Problem was also on Summary.
Now problem is only with Gold. Market value at mobile and pc are different.

Great to hear that. It’s best to do it at the same time if having them in sync is important.
Generally, if markets are not volatile, especially currencies, the % difference will be negligible.
If you explore the portfolio, different assets will be updated at different times, sometime exaggerating the difference.
Though it’s worth noting it only affects today’s prices. Previous days are always fetched as end-of-day.

Yes, it seemed pretty extreme. I’m honestly curious what caused it, as the extreme “misalignment” between devices can be just one hour. I don’t think that today was that volatile.
Another thing, that the data feeds sometimes have small or big glitches that gets corrected quickly. But if the glitched data point is fetched, it will be cached for half an hour at least. Maybe that’s what happened here
This morning problem returned. This time “Market value” difference is $9750,95.
On Summary also.
When I cleared “Market data cache” simultaneously on both devices and it solved problem - both apps show the same data … but what is strange when I compared value which is in both Capitally apps with google sheet (stocks prices from google) Capitally value is smaller around $9987,41. IBKR value aslo is different for about 10k$.

If next time this happens again, could you please click Refresh from the top-right menu and see if this fixes it?
App should refresh the data automatically, but on mobile it sometimes didn’t. I was fixing it not so long ago, but maybe it still happens.
I did refresh many times. It did not help. Now still Capitally shows Market value almost 10k worse result than it really is.
When market will be open it probably will show proper value. I let you know.
Now both apps shows data as IBKR and google. It changed around 15:30 cet.
It seem that problem is sorce of data.
I was referring to mobile showing different price than desktop.
If both show different prices than Google or another source, then I will need to verify this with the data provider next week.
Normally, the proper end of date is available 30mins to a couple of hours. Capitally keeps the last available intra day until eod is available.
I’ll check if the EOD is updated at a proper time.
