Static portfolio strategies

Most of us employ one or more strategies in our portfolios, consciously or not. I would like to know the following: Before employing a strategy - how it performed historically. What traits I expect from it and where they true? Does it fit my situation (eg. local bonds will behave differently then US-bonds which most published strategies use, foreign exchange rates can turn everything on it’s head, etc.) Once employed, I want to know how much the target weights are off, so I can decide to r…

Portfolio rebalancing tool

Once I have a strategy defined, it would be great to get recommended ways to rebalance portfolio to achieve the planned weights. As there are multiple ways a complex portfolio can be rebalanced, app should give a dynamic recommendation which I can tweak to make optimal. For example by limiting or excluding certain operations, or proposing my own. The other, unrestricted parts of the recommendation should be then recalculated to achieve the balance (or get as close to it as possible). I should …
