Cash Account Invalid Input

Greetings, I find myself in a situation where a negative euro balance has occurred upon the creation of an asset. Consequently, the total valuation of my assets is inaccurate. I am in need of assistance. Thank you.


Hi @Jean . “Invalid input” would suggest that there’s something wrong with Cash tracking settings - either global ones, or the ones for account/position. Were you configuring them? Did you remove a cash asset by any chance lately?

Great to know. With cash tracking, your cash going negative is actually expected, as you’ve spent money on that transaction. You’d need some EUR balance on that account as well, by logging all deposits.

If you don’t need to track how much EUR you have automatically, then keep it disabled. If you will need it in the future and the issue will show up again, please reach out again.
