The “Dividend Reinvested” transactions automatically added by Capitally don’t match exactly the transactions in the statements of the broker - nor the amount, nor the price. This causes a problem after I sold all the shares and logged them in Capitally, Capitally still thinks I have some fractional positions. I have these “zombie” assets in Capitally and I’d like to clean them up. Could you explain to me how, please ?
For one, you can of course correct the automatic transactions (manually, or by importing the broker statements). But if such accuracy is not needed, you can simply add an Account Balance transaction setting the balance to 0 right after the sale transaction that actually closed the position.
