Sweden tax setup with Tradin212

Hello! Can anyone help me setting up tax report to Swedish tax laws with sales of stocks and divindends reinvested. I´m fideling around but i´m not sure how to do. Help would be very appriciated. :):grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Can you tell how does this tax law works?

When you sell a stock with profit you pay 30% tax on the profit. Dividends is also 30 %. But i´m reinvesting but i have to pay taxes anyway. If you sell a stock with a loss i can offset my losses to my profits. I use W-8Ben form so US stocks take 15%. So confusing

I know how to report to my taxes in Sweden but how to set it up on the Capitally plattform.

Cool, I’ll just add it to the app as a preset.

As for W8-ben, do you mean that all sales and dividends are taxed at 30%, or that only dividends are?

Before you can trade US stocks, you need to have an approved W8-BEN agreement. In that agreement, you certify that you pay tax (tax residency) in a country that has a special tax treaty with the US. This means that, among other things, the tax on dividends will only be 30% instead of 45%.

Google translate… Sorry

All sales, dividends and profit on single stock is 30%

But if you would do this as a preset i can not take responsibility for the accuracy. But this is how i know about this issue. But it would be a game changer to Swedish invenstors to have a preset for Swedish conditions. If so i´m a long time subscriber :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Unless it turns out to be too complicated for the currently supported logic - I’ll add it for sure. Just give me some time, as we’re very close to releasing options which is a pretty big and complex thing.
