The last feature to add before release - automatic lot groups - is shaping up ![]()
Yes, I’ve tried the expiry column but it’s not an absolute date either, that’s what makes it hard to find particular options, especially for old ones as it shows “x days ago” instead of a date.
Got it @Francois I’ll include the absolute date there.
Btw - you can hover the “days ago” to see the actual date, but still, actual expiry date is pretty important for options - I get it.
Much appreciated!
Update (2.26.3)
- Option strategies with multiple legs can now be automatically grouped into Lot Groups. You need to enable it in the Settings → Advanced
- Expiry dates are displayed more prominently, with both full date and relative days if within 30 days around expiration
Hey Rafal,
I’m on version 2.26.3 now and the issues with the weird names is back. See below for the settings menu and I see the same issue on the options, which I’m guessing is for the expiry dates.
Ehh, I forgot to pass it through translation, thanks for spotting that.
I searched and don’t have any recent option expiry/assignment ones - was doing tons of short term options trading before 2021 with AmeriTrade. So definitely have some from back then. Moved to Asia so stopped doing short term options and then AmeriTrade was bought by Charles Schwab and merged around 2024. So don’t have any option expiry/assignment ones with Charles Schwab. Let me see if I can come up with some safe option expiry/assignment trades but it would take some time for them to play out.
Thanks,
Derek
