I am getting a “data source currency mismatch” for my “WisdomTree Physical Bitcoin” asset that I bought for USD on SIX Swiss Exchange. Capitally maps this transaction to “BTCW - WisdomTree Physical Bitcoin EUR” which is incorrect. I don’t see a corresponding symbol in USD.
This error means that our data provider has changed the currency of the symbol - either in error, or correcting the error.
To fix this on your side, edit the Asset, open the Prices tab and select a symbol in the Source prices using this market symbol - even if it’s the same one you currently have.
We have it available in different currencies from different exchanges as well.
If the source symbol have a different currency than what you need, you can set any other currency in the Prices tab - Capitally will automatically convert from the symbol price to the asset price - just like IBKR does for BTCWUSD.
